Chip is saying that Obama's staff gave them information that the audience and questions are being selected. The questions will be coming from someone invited or screened before hand. I think that is much different than having a few plants.

Same thing happened with Kerry. You had to be invited to come and then the plants asked the questions they were asssigned to ask.
