Year Of Unrest!
This year in B.C. all of the major Grocers which are unionized have thier contracts up for renewal.
They have all taken strike votes & it is almost 100% yes for a strike.
How did we not see that coming???
I predict more strikes as the cost of everything rises.
Only good thing is they have to give not only 72 hour strike notice (which they did) but they also have to give 72 hour perishability notice to allow the grocery chains to clear the shelves of perishables (which they have not done) before a strike happens.
Going to be an interesting year for sure!
