In my single days (which was most of my life) there was advice I followed, MUCH more that I didn't including words of wisdom that I thought was total bunk my entire adult life until almost the literal day after the wedding.
Sad thing is is that if I was able to time travel within my own lifetime ("Quantum Leap" style) and tell my OWN YOUNGER SELF, my younger self would still not have listened.

Last time I was there LS preached a message on having power or something like that then spent the entire time preaching to women on the magic hair doctrine and I left very disappointed and wondering if because I am a man with short hair I have no angels protecting me unless I marry someone with uncut hair....
