They also announced that they had voted to separate ORU from the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Ministry...this would obviously allow Richard to remain with the ministry while not with the school...these two have always been together. In the beginning the Ministry arm underwrote the school but they say that in the last few years the school has assumed some ministry debt (such as the tv broadcasts)...
All in all it would appear that ORU has victory ahead...perhaps indicated by the ORU basketball team beating the University of Tulsa (a much higher rated school team) tonight in some bedlam action....
