one is perfectly capable of writing a nonsense song (see: "Rawkfist" by TFK) that is nothing but catchy and possibly self-advertising a smidge and still deny themselves...
since a Christian is seperate from the world, one is perfectly capable of loving themself and not loving the world or the things in the world...

seriously, though, its a song, stop trying to make it some high-level theology... the songs are either evangelical in some form, worshipful, or silly/stupid... and occasionally a love song is thrown in... Its just music...
