While I understand what you are saying, I think it's impossible to be "partly saved". God gives us His Spirit to guide us into all truth. It's just unfortunate that many who have the Holy Ghost don't follow it. I still remember learning that, despite the people I knew in my old church and their walk with God, they could not possibly make heaven because their sins had not been remitted via baptism in Jesus name. It broke my heart....
