Show me what he did to deserve credit? He fought tooth and nail against the sequestration. He damned and condemned Republicans in Congress for it.

Not true. The sequestration cuts were not "put in place by the obama administration." The cuts were a trigger added to the Budget Control Act of 2011 so that if certain conditions weren't met, they would automatically go into effect. You can't re-write history, JD. obama and the Democrats didn't believe Republicans would have a backbone to allow sequestration. obama thought he got what he wanted with the BCA without any concessions, since the sequestration was never supposed to happen (according to him and the Democrats). When obama didn't meet the conditions outlined in the BCA, the sequestration was enforced against his will.

Then he and the Democrats condemned the sequestration and the Republicans for approving it. Republicans did allow changes to defense spending and VA spending.
