My Rant Letter To Pentecostals / Apostolics
Dear Reader,
I have been concerned about a few situations I have encountered. I figured I would rant here instead of letting this junk consume me. I will address these issues, but in the appointed time. I have encountered too many brainwashed Pentecostals, all programmed to respond in the same manner. This is utterly pathetic!
Please understand that I am a realist, and I made a commitment to abstain from living in fantasyland. People who live in this fantasyland cannot think for themselves, and they have allowed another to dictate their belief. I am weary of reading comments on Facebook from people stating, “I can’t wait to see what God will do at church tonight!” These narrow-minded people have confined God’s power to a building structure. Is it possible that God can only perform within four walls? Why are people brainwashed with this nonsense? Why wait for church service? Is your faith limited to the boundaries of a church building?
Pentecostalism has taken hostage the supernatural acts manifested in the New Testament by Jesus and His apostles on public streets, on seashores in the midst of multitudes of people, and have confined those supernatural acts to church services. Somehow, Pentecostalism has concluded that sinners must come our church services to receive deliverance and/or healing.
The other day I gave my opinion and encountered resistance, but I would not expect anything less from brainwashed individuals. How is verbalizing the obvious a negative action? Perhaps you do not want your fantasyland disrupted with truth? That is it! Do not question the traditions of our inheritance! Just follow the parade of Pentecostalism and shut up! Thank Jesus, rather than taking the stance of a Pharisee, He stood up and healed on the Sabbath day! He stepped out of traditional to minster in the supernatural!
Do you know what else annoyed me? The other day a leader of an undisclosed oneness organization ranted about the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman case. I wrote my opinion on racism. I wrote that it is more disgusting to encounter racism in the church! I wrote, “How can one claim to love God and hate their brother/sister due to the color of their skin?” Guess what? He deleted my comment! I wish “so-called” men of god would grow a backbone and eliminate racism within churches. Instead, these leaders are too worried about politics! Either, these leaders have some form of racism indwelling their heart, or they are too much of a coward to stand and confront criticism. When you are not periodically opposing criticism as a leader, you are too busy pleasing the crowd! Grow a backbone and submit to the mindset of God!
Respectully,
Jacob's Ladder
FYI: I'm not backslidden for all you judgemental folks. I'm a Christain with a Pentecostal experience, and believe/preach the Acts 2:38 salvation message, accompanied with signs and wonders (gifts of the Spirit).
