I did not say you were wrong when you used the "P" word. WE DO WANT TO PRIVIATIZE.... Its a good thing...that doesnt mean "do away with"
It does mean, remove control of the dollars from the goverment.

Ferd, got some questions...what does Privatize mean? If people do the P-word, how will that effect Social Security? If you quit paying the Social Security taxes in your paycheck and put it in your 401K, what will that do to Social Security eventually? If you put the Social Security taxes in the Stock Market and the Stock Market crashes, like it has in the past, just what if it does, where will your retirement be?

The Social Security system has been wonderful to many, many people for 75 years. It has supported children when their fathers die and their wives. It has helped many that became disabled and couldn't work to support their families. The Social Security system works, and it is proven. Now Ferd, one more question, Will the Stock Market (401K) do this for people?
