We live under the New Testament. People will answer for thier sins and the rejection of the gospel as individuals. Paul never cursed Rome, ordered Christians to reform it, or warned of certain judgment upon them as a nationn. However, Paul warned the wicked as individuals. False prophecies of doom and gloom abound. However, EVERYONE will die and face God. We do well to warn them that they cannot escape his judgment should they neglect such great salvation.
