In custody for what?
You have a lawless mind. Twisted liberal minds. Do a preemptive imprisonment. How sick.
Put a person in jail for talking about doing something that is not illegal.
We will always have Mulsim terrorism. In fact they kill each other
by the thousands. Today they are stoning the Devil for Ramadam
If we put people in custody for being ignorant, the jails couldn't hold all the liberals that have said something ignorant.

We just paid for Imam Rauf's overseas trip. Looks like to me he went there to gin up the Muslim world. Then he comes back to threaten us. That is extorting America.
You see them burning American flags in Afghanistan after Friday prayers or burning an effigy of Jones, but the strange and glaring thing is, these people can't even read. So, basically, the propagandist machine is revving them up.
That is much more of a concern to me, and should be to all Americans, than the actions of an obscure pastor in Florida.

A Pakistani newspaper is quoting one of the country's ministers as stating he wants President Obama to offer Muslim prayers at Ground Zero and become the "Caliph," or ruler, of the Islamic nation.

Coadie... you can't yell "FIRE" in a crowded building. I work in aviation security. You can't release SSI. People don't have the right to say or do things that endanger the life, liberty, or property of someone else. If the generals on the ground are reporting that this issue will inflame their battlefield situation and endanger our troops and our mission... it's now an issue of international security. Protecting the mission, our troops, and the life, liberty, and property of our citizens is the government's job.
This "pastor" isn't just making a speech and sharing his views. He's purposefully taking actions that will endanger our military mission, our troops, and perhaps even citizens of the United States. It could be argued that this pastor should be detained for national security interests. If he feels his rights were violated, give him his day in court and let the court decide if his actions were merely "free speech" or if his actions unnecessarily endanger American lives and our military mission. I say, get him into costody and let the system work. That's what it's here for. But if I were a political servant of the people in public office... I'd feel obligated to act and let the chips fall where they will.
If this were WWII and his actions would endanger the Allied mission against Hitler.... I'm sure our grand parents would know what to do with him.

Sadly, I know exactly what you're talking about. But the media's job is to report. When the story was reported, other media outlets reported it and so on. It hit the national and international news. Now it gets ratings!!!

Great point. Here we have an obscure pastor in Florida taking actions that are endangering troops, possibility citizens, and the military mission we're engaged in. Even generals on the ground are seriously concerned with what this man is doing.
Is it "Freedom of Speech" or an issue of "National Security"?
I say... put him in costody and make him fight for this. Let the courts decide if it's "free speech".

Well, Jones did have a trailer with "Burn the Koran" professionally painted on the side. LOL! Being an idiot, at least he is an organized idiot, ya think? LOL! He might get a reality show out of this. LOL!
Gotta run and I think my computer is on the blink. Arghh!

Re: Burning the Koran
We are at war folks. It's time the government says, "Okay kiddies. Play responsibly or go to jail."

You can't get caught up in the madness of going against his Constitutional rights to burn a Koran either. If the media didn't want to gin up this business, no one would have thought a thing about it. But, they wanted to try and show that we are just an intolerant as the Muslims. And I believe it is the liberal left that would love to see Christianity take a back burner.
The sad and true fact is that, even on this very forum, we claim to be Christians and we are not tolerant toward each person's decision of where we choose to worship and what we choose to believe. It doesn't make us look very palatable. Our words can cut just as much as physical violence.
So, I think that Glenn Beck had it right at his Restoring Honor rally - "We need to restore honor in our own lives before we try to fix anything else."

We need a leader before we can say that. We, unfortunately, don't have one at the moment.
