If he really wanted to do the RIGHT thing, he should have declined the award and let it be given to someone who really deserved it. Surely, even he can figure out that he didn't do anything to deserve it. And hopefully he could be humble enough to understand that there are others who have earned the right to receive it. (altho, in all honesty, I doubt it)
