Nope. We're close to Owensboro and Hawesville. Is Jeffersonville where you're headed?
Yep... goin to pay homage to THE Prophet.
Actually, I'm going to take the 12 year old granddaughter of a friend on a picnic. I got word that while she was looking at pictures of me and my wife she started crying, saying she missed Raccoon Boy (thats another story) and "Aunt" Lola. So I told her on the phone that I was gonna come and take her on a picnic.

Waiting for the Lord is easy... Waiting patiently? Not so much.
For two years, as I suffered with extreme headaches, neurological problems, and nearly going blind, I had people praying for my healing.
For two years, I had medical interventions in an attempt to ease my pain and symptoms, and was hospitalized several times.
For two years I attended church faithfully and hoped that God would miraculously heal me, as I knew surgery was my only physical option.
That healing finally came in March 2004. I had brain surgery where a shunt was implanted to drain fluid off and I've been healed ever since.
God got all the glory. If it weren't for Him, I wouldn't be here today.
Sorry, but I don't follow. You say you are proof that God heals via man's hand. Your story doesn't seem to include the part where God was involved. It looks like a case of medical healing, not miraculous healing. Can you expound?

Well, brain surgery isn't something I'd want to go through without prayer.
In addition, most people with my condition have continued problems, especially with their eyes and other neurological problems. I haven't had any problems at all since the surgery. It's remarkable.

We could say God had his hand on the doctor, He guided the doctor, HO was healed, she alive. I believe sometime we have to go through the whole lesson, sometimes it includes surgery.

I have no doubt that while I had to go through surgery, God was in it.

Give me a break. There's different kinds of "pharmacy." Don't tell me you're one of those people that are the 1st to go to the doctor but pray for healing for your sick kids. I've seen mercy and compassion from physicians who know how to appropriately prescribe "medicine" and other treatment. I'm not trying to be rude, but I've seen a lot of over reaction to a lot of good things in this world. Be careful of finding some kind of "spirit" under every rock. Sometimes things are just ordinary regular everyday life.

Well I can assure you I'm one of those who takes my kids to the doctor and pray as well. I my not go myself, my kids are another story. If they have something other then the Common cold or 24 tummy bug, I'll take em in. I do believe in preventive care, so I do a lot healthy things. Agree with your last part, some things are just a part life, the body break down after a time, due to wear and tear, age.
