We must be careful what we say things have a way of coming home to us...I think we all know that if any healing takes place it is God that does it. I am in need of your prayers for healing. Thanks.

The funny thing is no matter if one is healed with or without man's intervention it is still God Who heals. He's just provided the knowledge for man to do his part. Man is just a means that God uses. It's all part of the dominion mandate.
Scripture advocates the use of medicine and it advocates the use of prayer. OM commits the logical fallacy of the false dilemma. Plus, he completely ignores the cultural relevance of the Galatians passage.

I'm proof that God heals via man's hand.
For two years, as I suffered with extreme headaches, neurological problems, and nearly going blind, I had people praying for my healing.
For two years, I had medical interventions in an attempt to ease my pain and symptoms, and was hospitalized several times.
For two years I attended church faithfully and hoped that God would miraculously heal me, as I knew surgery was my only physical option.
That healing finally came in March 2004. I had brain surgery where a shunt was implanted to drain fluid off and I've been healed ever since.
God got all the glory. If it weren't for Him, I wouldn't be here today.

Nope, it IS a question of consistency. Obviously your arguments aren't consistent. Do you use synthetic spoons and dinnerware to provide nutrition to your body? Do you use synthetic products to wash and style your hair when you go to church? Do you use synthetic cash, checks, or debit cards to pay for your expenses? Do you live in a straw hut? Do you atten church in a grass building?
I am consistent and this thread is about medication = witchcraft, not about anything else, but people are making it about everything but the subject itself.
We don't eat pork, we only eat wild game, white tail, Elk, Bison , fish. We raise our own chicken's for eggs, they are free range and rabbits for food as well. We have garden so hubby putting in a root cellar before winter hits , so we try eat close to the earth. I do some herbs as well. I mill my own organic wheat and Flax seeds, bake my own breads as well. We buy organic whole oats, we do our best to stay away from the hormones injected food groups! We have a deep well, so we don't consume chlorinated water, no soda pops cook with coconut oil. I've not been to a doctor in six years myself. I'll admit I do these things to stay healthy!
See, atleast you get it, but there are many on here that don't get this. I wish that we could do something like this though and even though we don't we still don't have to go to the doctor and God takes care of us through prayer.
I didn't say anyone hasn't, however I haven't seen a lot of posts mocking the idea of not getting medical treatment and expecting God taking care of it
I have and maybe the reason you don't see the many posts that are mocking is because you believe as they do. Don't you? Am I wrong with that assumption?
Quote:
Are they mocking you or are they mocking the idea of not getting medical treatment?
Mocking me, because I trust God completely in this and mocking the idea, because they seem to think that God can't heal someone completely without doctors and medication.
Quote:
But you don't see yourself doing the same or coming off somewhat judgmental?
No, I am not doing the same and I am not being judgmental, because I would do it a lot different. I would tell them straight out and in that I would be like them and also being judgmental.
BTW, why would people have a problem with God healing people completely without doctors and medication and people trusting God completely?
Quote:
And some times people die because they did not get treatment
More times than not, people die when they do get treatment. I haven't seen or heard about that happening many times with people trusting God completely and not seeking medical help.
The POINT was when they trusted in God they were all healed instantly right?
Yes
Quote:
So what about the person that was NOT healed instantly (note, here is where you see part of the point). What about them?
It could be for many reasons and I will list a couple of them: not enough faith and sin in their life.
Quote:
In the meanwhile to alleviate pain or other suffering. What if they have a condition that keeps them from working and are not healed instantly...but with medical treatment they could. Should they just wait and not work until God heals them?
I don't have an answer for this except to seek God about it, because He has all the answers.
Quote:
BTW where did I criticize you for trusting God completely?
It was probably just a conditioned response because of the way that people are on here. If I accused you falsely, I apologize and ask if you will forgive me?
You mean like how you are assuming I'm not thinking outside the box and listening? LOL!!
Your posts are full of assumptions and nothing but, like when you tell people things like you do above, telling them to seek God (cause you assume they don't or haven't) and such.
I'd like to see some original thoughts from you in your posts, not the same old rhetoric. It's old so quick.
And what medications is he refusing to take that he should be taking?? Or are you just saying he won't take things like Tylenol for a headache or Tums for indigestion?
He shouldn't be taking any medications because he is healthy. He won't take any medications at all because he knows that God is his healer.
