Re: Upc Politician against Ron Paul

Does anyone know if a Oneness Pentecostal has ever been elected to a high-level position on the State or Federal level. I'm fairly certain that one has never been elected to congress.

What are the odds that folks will be urged to support this guy just because of his 'sameness' to Pentecostals, and not because of the issues and positions?

I'm not in his district so I can't vote for him, but I like where he stands on the issues.

Re: Upc Politician against Ron Paul

The Apostolic Assemby had a preacher from Orange County Ca become a state assemblyman. he became pretty powerful too. He is now I believe an ambassador??? Gaddy Vasquez or something close to that. He knew Pres Bush Sr. He once held a position in the Apostolic Assembly, I don't remember which, but I didn't know who he was and one day in my youth I told him off...I guess he won't appoint me to anything I felt bad, he was a great guy.

An ambassador?

Isn't that one of those cushy jobs that you get when you really came through on that vote for the big boys?
