BTW - How reliable is the information that this unafilliation is going to take place?

Plus we must pause to realize that just because the church is becoming unafilliated does not neccesarily mean the pastor will.

It is rather shocking that a church of this size would be affiliated anyway. Not many big ones are.

25 to 30 churches per year. The ratio has stayed very consistent.

Disaffiliation does not indicate that they "leave" the UPC.

It is reliable that the church is going to vote on the issue. Who knows what the outcome will be? The pastor is staying with the org.
