I would ask Berkeley what makes him think he could make my daughter happy if he isn't doing what he knows will make him the most happiest person he could possibly be.

She had placed some distance between us, as not to distract me, giving me time to get grounded and establish a walk with God.
At the start of the yr I told her that I'm probably never going back to church, and she is waisting her time by waiting for me.
I feel like a jerk, and I really miss her. Is there anything I can do to fix things?

Dear Los,

If your heart is sincere, I would first get my relationship with God right. Repentance and commitment. I would then begin being faithful to God, church attendance, and practice of the spiritual disciplines of consistent and daily prayer, Bible reading and studying, and a day of fasting per week. Before you can prove yourself to this girl, you must first prove something to yourself and to God. The commitment you make has to be about your relationship to God and not about the girl.

The Bible is very specific about what we must do..."Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."

If she truly loves you and it is meant to be, after you have become faithful and consistent then you can approach her and tell her your heart. If she is not the one, and a relationship is what you desire...seek God and get his mind for the direction for your life. Make your petition known unto God, and He is faithful to give you the desires of your heart.

Blessings, Rhoni

Mizpeh & Dan,

Great brainstorming! Dan, communication is truly a must but a bit premature...Mizpeh is on track...until Berkley proves his commitment to God I would totally advise my daughter against any kind of relationship with this man. I would forbid her to see him until a period of time, 6 months to a year of faithful submission to the ministry over him. The wait will be worth it all if Berkley truly has a heart after God and not just after the girl.

Blessings, Rhoni

Sis. Rhoni,

Sister, you are right on!!

Bro. Berkley,

This is very wise advice indeed! If you will follow it, I believe you will

find riches. And you will also find happiness!

My advice was not to Berkley if SHE was my daughter, but to Berkley

if HE was my son!!!
