We may think: "Of course God loves the poor; he loves everybody." But it's not so simple as that; God's character is presented as a model for our own. If God values the poor, we have to think about what that means for us.
The mud covered our shoes. There was no way to get to their house the road was so steep and muddy…that was why we were walking.
We were in a church service when a sister in our church asked us to visit her sisterīs friend who was sick. After visiting with her a while she told us she had been sick for the past 14 years yet the doctors could not discover the reason for her sickness. We visited her week after week at her sisterīs house she was possessed by demons and after casting out demons she repented of her sins and said she was returning to her home about 2 hours drive from our place. She asked us to come and make a visit at their home and meet her family.
That was why we were there fulfilling our promise. They were waiting for us in the rain with several of the neighbors. Before the service was over 40 people had gathered in to hear us sing and preach. The couple told us that many years ago they had been Assembly of God but had backslide…they wept and wept that we would come to their village.
We gave an alter call the family came and repented and prayed a long time. They have asked us to return and have services every week in their village. My heart was so touched…
These poor forgotten people have asked for us to help them bus tickets for them to come to our special May services. I have no funds. My wife and I live on less than 200 American dollars a month. For them to come they need 100 dollars for bus fares. I donīt know but if anyone could help them come they can stay at my house and eat with us.
For those who bless the poor, God promises to bless them (

Isaiah 58:6-10).
My mom gave me the idea to write on the forum and see if anyone would help them with their tickets. If anyone can help them it is ok to send to Momīs home address and she will give me the money to help them come.
Prov. 19:17 When you help the poor you are lending to the Lord--and he pays wonderful interest on your loan!
