The doctors have explained to him that this is going to be slow, but they are very pleased with his progress.
He just has to be patient, which can be difficult for someone that's always been on the go. In fact, he had put this off as long as possible, so long that he had absolutely no cartilage in either knee and the pain had gotten unbearable. After this recovery time...he'll feel like a new man!

Thank you all for your kind words and most of all your prayers.
He asks me eveyday if I've been on AFF so he can keep up with all of you.
Keep praying that things continue to go well for him.

We love you all.
Sis. Holland
If you really want to make his day...tell him that LadyRev offered to come preach for him while he recovers.

I'm praying for the Bishop as well.

but I have a question: If his nurses have to wear long sleeves, did he make them get a hospital gown with long sleeves for him to wear? He does know, doesn't he, that those hospital gowns are made for either sex to wear? Does that make hospital gowns a sin? and if it does, are they a sin for males because they're wearing women's apparel, or for women because they're wearing men's apparel???? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

JK'ing with you all!!

Wear a nice denim skirt while you're at it.

That made my day!
The first day they got him up,
I threatened to get out my camera phone.
I figured there would be a few that would pay
BIG money for those pics !!

This is the first I've seen this thread. Glad to know he's doing well, and hope he'll get back to yankin' our chains soon!

His predicament sounds much like my MIL's...putting it off as long as possible, and no cartilage left. He will feel sooooooo much better once it's all done.
