I don't understand the whole "Libertarian Christian" label. I've always thought you were either Christian or not. I understand that Christians may hold Libertarian, Conservative, Moderate, Liberal political views...for instance, I hold Libertarian views on a few issues...less government is better. But as for marriage...I don't see the problem with government upholding what God designed, and what nature itself teaches per say. If gay people wanna do whatever, so be it, but what right should they have to steal or partake in something God instituted and desecrate it? And abortion...there have been bills produced that would have protected the mothers life and given her a choice in the case of a fatal birth. ....empowering government to protect human life? That's part of our constitution. We have laws in place today, written and enacted by our Government that are there to protect us....should we abolish those because it may empower the Government? Abortion isn't a political issue anyway...it's a moral issue. No matter how Libertarian you wanna be or are proud to be....no law equates to chaos...especially in today's society. Life comes from God and no one has a right to take that life...if there were to be just one law, i'd like to think Christians would have no problem with that law being protection for defense less innocent life. Anybody can say they're a Christian...but today, that word is meaningless because everybody who believes that there is a God, is considered a Christian. We are all sinners, unworthy to even feel the presence of God....we are human and make countless mistakes,...that's not what makes us a non Christian, but when our core beliefs are so in line with the mainstream on something so evil and disgusting as abortion...something is terribly wrong.
