Have you tried witnessing to your family (friends) in the Mennonite Community about Acts 2:38? If so, what has been their response? I live here in NorCal and we have a quite a few Mennonite Communities. (Maybe in a new thread.)

They are somewhat receptive. I was the first of my family to leave the Old Order church. Today I have a younger brother and his family who attend a UPC and some other family that has left the OOM for a bit more liberal Mennonite groups. An older brother attends a UU church.
I am on my iPhone, but I think we have a thread called "Growing up Mennonite" where we discussed this some.

Right. That or Unity, I get them mixed up.
Prior to that he had been "Identity" for a while.
