Any thing positive happening, these negative threads are getting old!
I have had my share of controveral threads, but also the good things I have seen God do, but I logged on today and looked across the breadth of threads and it struck me, is there any thing God is doing that we can discuss.
The negative stuff about preachers, organizations and churches after awhile fatigues the spiritual man.
Let's talk about healing, gifts of the spirit, people being delivered, mission fields set ablaze with mass baptisms of water and spirit.

My personal mission is to BRING people into a right relationship with God, GROW them up to maturity and SEND them back into the world to minister.
Recently my mom and dad were sitting on the front porch, as they are want to do, and my dad went into the house for a moment. When he returned my mom was crying and had last all feeling and all movement on her left side and couldn't open her left eye.
He called their pastor and he arrived before they had gotten my mom in the truck. They rushed her to the hospital and the decision was made to life flight her to Herman Hospital in Houston.
It is about this time that we all began to hear about what was going on. When the helicopter took off she had no feeling and no movement on her left side. On the flight over she regained feeling. By the time the helicopter had landed she had movement back.
Really when they got her to the hospital they didn't really know what to do with her because she was okay. But they checked her in and began to run tests to see what the cause of this might have been. They found that the arteries to her neck were nearly completely blocked (this could well explain the increasingly slurred speech over the last few years).
She went into surgery and all went well. The arteries are now opened up nicely and she is recovering well. She was on high blood pressure medicine before but no longer has a need for that medicine. With the blockages gone her initial struggle was with blood pressure that was too low.
She had a stroke and God gave her full recovery even before the doctors were able to begin working on her.
If she had not had the stroke they blocked arteries would have never been found because both of my parents won't go to the doctor unless they are in very bad shape. (I grimace to admit that I have inherited this trait)
All in all... if I could roll back time and choose for her to not have the stroke I probably wouldn't because now she is set to be better off than she was before the stroke.
She has totally regained all feeling and movement and no longer has the slight slur she used to have and her blood pressure is doing great.
She is more whole now than she was before she had the stroke.
Yes sir... some wonderfully positive things are going on.
