July 27th
Reddit /pol/ is buzzing about something big happening Thursday. "The hammer is going to fall."
Rumor is the first domino has already fallen -- today Imran Awar was arrested at Dulles airport trying to flee the country. Awar is an IT worker who worked for the DNC and specifically worked for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. The FBI seized smashed hard drives from his home recently and Capitol Police also seized a laptop Awar hid in a crevice in the Rayburn House Office Building.
DWS hit the roof during a nondescript hearing on the Capitol Police budget. She lashed out at the CP Chief and threatened "consequences" for the CP refusing to give the laptop back to her.
The laptop and hard drives may contain key information about the alleged "hacking" of the DNC. Remember, the DNC has refused to cooperate with the FBI. They have refused to hand over servers, even claimed they were destroyed.
Odd actions for an organization which claimed to have been hacked by Russians. You'd think they would be happy to cooperate.
I read that we shouldn't pay much attention to POTUS' public berating of Sessions. It's a smokescreen. 1) to force Sessions to either resign or start cleaning the swamp and 2) to create the appearance of space between the POTUS and AG, so when the AG does act, it appears to do so without consulting with Trump.
Other claims are to keep an eye on Mueller - he's investigating POTUS, but the target is someone else entirely. HC, Obama aides, etc.
The new WH communications director, Scaramucci, is getting ready to clean out the West Wing of establishment and obama-admin hacks. Priebus rumored to be on the way out as well.
Like any prediction I read, I'll believe it all when I see it.

On that note, a number of former intelligence officers have produced a report which details why they believe the e-mails were leaked, not hacked, and that the Russian involvement was planted evidence.

Here's a list of the names involved in this report.

Should be interesting to say the least. Definitely a different stance.

Re: July 27th
Trump may make this #NeverTrumper a Trumpster if what I'm reading actually happens.
Take this series of tweets from someone who was pointing to the arrest of Awar yesterday (again, Awar was arrested today trying to flee the country):
"""Long thread explaining my thoughts on Sessions, Mulehead, and the entire DOJ extravaganza.
1. Trump can fire Mulehead and/or Sessions any time he wants to. Why hasn't he?
2. The obvious answer is that one or both serve some purpose. Let's start with Sessions-The typical view is he isn't going after Cankles
3. Or Lynchmob, or Lerner, or Combover. Typical view is "Sessions is letting them skate."
4. This could be the furthest thing from the truth. What, exactly, would a major takedown of Lynchmob/Combover/Cankles look like?
5. Above all, such a campaign would be secrecy on steroids. I doubt the FBI would even be involved. Too leaky, too many Swampthings.
6. A "takedown/indictment" team would be very, very small. Leakproof. it would require a great deal of time. Larger the team, more leaks.
7. The takedown would have to be 100% successful in getting its first target. Failure to get #1 would signal weakness & incompetence.
8. Therefore, NO detail can be overlooked or ignored. Trump won't get a second chance. If successful, GOP hails him as hero. But fails? Bad.
9. How to keep this investigation not only from fake news but from our own well-meaning butt-inskies and "reporters?"
10. "Cheese in the maze" on a daily basis. Trump must maintain a thick smokescreen of diversions.
11. The very best diversion of all is to make it appear that Sessions himself is neither efficient nor trusted to do it.
12. Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump all succeeded politically because they were constantly underestimated.
13. Allowing Sessions to appear to be achieving only second tier goals is the perfect script for underestimation.
14. No trigger will be pulled until all evidence is complete on ALL targets. None can escape or know the strategy until too late.
15. This includes the Awan Bros., who may bring down several members of Congress. (Boo hoo).
16. What about Mulehead? He can serve one of two Trump purposes.
17. First, Mulehead provides and unintended ongoing smokescreen/cheese maze of focus on the "Russia" investigation.
18. Even if the "Russia" investigation is legit and serious, Trump knows he's safe, so Mulehead poses no threat to him personally.
19. A second possibility is that Mulehead is indeed working on his own on the leakers, on Combover, on Lynchmob & Cankles. Not likely
20. Either way, Mulehead draws attention away from DOJ's real activities.
21. As for 2nd tier DOJ achievements-Dark Web, Medicare fraud busts-many indirectly support bigger agenda of stopping illegals/get Cankles
22. Drug enforcement nets "Dreamers" who, once criminals, can be deported without heartstrings hoopla
23. Asset forfeiture will be critical for a takedown of the Clinton Crime Family Foundation. Even if she pleads out, she'll be broke.
24. Conclusion: if I'm right, an ongoing, pretty secret offensive is taking place against the Swamp. But it won't be quick.

Re: July 27th
Dude, I hope you're wrong.
The Pakistani's arrest apparently had nothing to do with politics-- though I am sure he was targeted politically.
He lied to secure a loan. He said a specific property was his primary residence when in fact it wasn't.
That is why he was arrested...
OVERKILL!

Have you read about this guy? You and others want people to believe this is just a simple fraud case.
1) Why was he fleeing the country?
2) FBI seized hard drives, laptops, routers and other computer parts and accessories which were hidden in a house he owns.
3) DWS claims he was "just a PT employee," yet he was paid millions by her and the DNC. Pretty incredible for a PT employee.
4) Capitol Police found a laptop hidden in a crevice in the Rayburn House Building. When DWS found out about it, she used a routine hearing on Capitol Police funding to threaten the CP Chief and claimed there would be "consequences" if they did not release the laptop back to her.
5) You claim his arrest was because he lied on a loan? Why try to flee the country? Why yank his passport and put him on tight surveillance? Why the seizure of laptops, hard drives and other equipment? Allegedly the fraud charge is a "placeholder" for more charges coming.
6) Somehow, in the midst of his bankruptcy, this guy retains Christopher Gowan as his attorney. Gowan is neck-deep with the Clinton's and the Clinton Foundation. He worked for Bill in the WH and worked on HC's Senate campaign. He worked for HC's 2008 Presidential campaign. He represented HC's aide Huma Abedin. And he's worked with The Clinton Global Initiative, The Clinton Foundation, and The Clinton Health Access Initiative. So again, how does some part-time, bankrupt nobody get a major attorney like Gowan?

You may be right. I'm skeptical about the claims myself. It could well be a bunch of wishful thinking by Trump loyalists. Today and next week could come and go and nothing happen. Mueller could close his investigation with indictments of Flynn and Manafort and nothing else.

It's okay, the swamp has this covered.
The Assistant US Attorney for DC who is in charge of Anwar's investigation is none other than .... Drum roll please ....
STEVEN WASSERMAN.
Last name sound familiar? But of course! Steven Wasserman is the BROTHER of Debbie Wasserman Schultz - Anwar's ex-boss!
It's an obvious conflict of interest. AG Sessions should step in and remove Steven from being anywhere near the case.
Seriously though, what a tangled web.

Re: July 27th
The Trump Administration has the pattern of waiting until Friday to make major announcements and major admissions.
Maybe tomorrow?

Re: July 27th
Congress has requested the AG open an investigation and appoint an independent counsel to investigate HC, Lorretta Lynch, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Samantha Power, Fusion GPS, Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, James Comey and Comey's professor friend.
