tragedy is preventable. addressing the cause of the tragedy is not politicizing. keep your head in the sand and don't try to remedy the cause. way to be a nonviolent christian, putting imperial policy above the word of god.

A kid could just as easily die from many neglectful oversights of parents, and do. Why single out guns?? OH! OH! OH! I KNOW! Because you are a communist that wants people to be unarmed and defenseless in the face of tyranny.

Oh please. This is every bit about politics and your extreme left-wing, anti-2A views. The word of God says nothing against guns or weapons of any kind.

I can be a Christian and own a gun; especially if you can support a baby killer and gay rights supporter like Obama.

It was an accident. Yes, whomever owned the gun was irresponsible and stupid for not having it in a safe location. But that doesn't mean we need to rip up our Constitutional right to bear arms.

I would go another step farther and say, in this case, whoever owned the gun is responsible for this death.

In this case, it is probably the victim.

This pretty much sums the situation up. A terrible tragedy but for it to be a reason to ban guns makes as much sense as banning cars because car wrecks kill people.

We need better education informing people about keeping guns in a safe manner.

how is "resist not evil, turn the other cheek, love your enemies, pray for them that despitefully use you," congruent with owning a gun? you cherish the constitution more than the word of god. you worship a false idol. i don't support unlimited abortion rights, i support obama on economic policy.

you always divert from the issue and attack left wing politics because you have no defense for why a christian who is not to resist evil should own a gun. admit your idolatry. i personally would not abort a baby. a woman is responsible for her own body before god. i would do everything to limit and prevent abortions up to taking away a woman's right to safe healthcare because back room abortions would endanger women's health. doesn't the constitution say freedom of religion? what right does anyone have imposing religious views on another person?
