I went to get the food because, well I am the only one wi6th a drivers license.
As I was driving down the alley way, I saw some kids hunched down snickering & I was just glad I didn't hit them with the van because it is foggy out.
I picked up the food & turned into my alley & I saw the kids disperse like cockroaches in the light.
It was then that I saw something on fire.
It looked like a pile of papers or cloth & I knew the kids were playing.
I called 911
Operator: "911 Police Fire or Ambulance?"
Me: 'Fire"
Operator:"For what city?"
Me: "Vancouver"
I talked to the dispatcher & said what was happening & said it was in the 4200 block of Beatrice Street, East Alley.
A few minutes & I hear A siren.
I wait & wait & wait.
I call back 911
Me:"Where are you?"
911: 'The unit is there!"
Me: "I am here & nobody is around!"
By this time the fire is out.
I confirm the address but no one comes.
Emergency Dispatchers??????
What a waste of time!

They were looking for a FIRE and apparently there was only a fire.
