Computer Help
I have an IBM Thinkpad T60. I recently had a new hard drive installed and xp professional reinstalled. However, my sound is now not working. I installed the drivers from the IBM site, I have installed the XP fix. I downloaded a program called Belarc Advisor to find all the hardware. Under the multimedia part it shows that there is an someone tell me how to fix this?

Re: Computer Help
The first thing I would do is open it back up and make sure the speaker wire was plugged back in or not accidentaly unplugged...

It looks like you left a word out...are you saying the word was "nothing"?
Under the multimedia part it shows that there is an nothing, someone tell me how to fix this?
I'd love to help you bro but I need more information.
How do you know it is not working? Just no sound? Speakers plugged into the right hole?
Are the right drivers installed? Is it using the right device? Was the driver installed correctly? Do any sounds work? How did you test it?

Sorry for the typo. It shows under multimedia that there is nothing there. Apparently my sound card is not being detected. I have downloaded everything I know to download.

Re: Computer Help
Could have unplugged or loosend the wires to the sound card or loosened it from the motherboard.
If it shows nothing is there then it is not reading one period. Even with no drivers at all it should still tell you that something is there.
