UPC Preacher's Wife Comes Out For Huckabee
A UPCI preacher's wife, known to me, has furthered the efforts of ecumenism by throwing her backing to the Baptist candidate, Mike Huckabee. Here she is pictured attending a speech by Mrs. Huckabee, two days ago. Is the ecumenical spirit invading the United Pentecostal Church? Is this good? Cause for alarm? Or...... no big deal?

Lady in black. Second row, first chair. I always knew she was covertly politically motivated and leaned toward a baptist persuasion. Now I've got the evidence. KH will be checking this out and a firmly signed Affirmation Statement may not help now. Too bad, they were good people. Just goes to show you never know.

Please tell me that this is all TIC. I am having a hard time with the idea that the church should be able to tell you who you should back politically. Let's face it, even on something as small as this forum, the differering political views are wide.
Would it have been better if she had attended a rally for Romney? Or would she then have been branded as a "Mormon lover"?

I told my Dad when she started attending the church he pastored that she would go down this path and my prophecy has now come to pass. Unbelievable!

Before NYLP has a stroke and becomes a customer in his own business I must confess. Even my hypocrisy has some boundaries. That is my one and only kid sister and I was doing what I have done her whole life.... give her a bad time. It was interesting to see all of the responses. Oh by the way, ... I voted for Mike Huckabee last Tuesday. Just couldn't help myself!
