USA Leaning Back to the Right
A Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey released this week found that a majority of Americans support Arizona's new immigration law. Check.
A M$ay 7 Gallup poll found that 42% of people want a Supreme Court nominee who would make the court more conservative, as opposed to only 27% who want a nominee who would make it more liberal. Check.
An AP/GfK poll released this week found that a majority of Americans still favor increasong drilling for oil and gas off the coasts in spite of the BP spill in the Gulf. Check.
A Gallup poll released on Friday entitled "The New Normal on Abortion: Americans More Pro Life". It buttressed the finding last summer when, for the first time since the question began being asked in 1995, more people self-identified as "pro-life" than as "pro-choice". Check.
All indications from poll to poll says that the Democrats will suffer heavy losses in November, some indicating there's a fair chance the GOP will take control of both the House and Senate. Check.
I guess the sky isn't falling after all...
