Seek To Excel At Edifying
Even so ye,forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts seek that ye may excel to the to the edifying of the church. 1 COR.14:12
Here we have the Apostle Paul teaching the body of Christ in Corinth on the proper usage of the gifts of the spirit.
He tells them that just are much as they are zealous of being used in the gifts,they should equally zealous in seeking to edify the body of Christ.
There are things in living for God that we should be diligent about,and there are callings that God calls Christians to that they need to work at being effective in.
Yet how are many believers are seeking to edify the Lord's church ?
We should seek to edify and not tear down,there are many who are discouraged and struggling with things,and they need an encouraging word,a kind gesture to keep them on the Christian path,they need to know that someone cares and is concerned about their wellbeing.
As members of the body of Christ we should excel at edification,so that we might be used to upbuild and uplift God's church.

There they can find plenty of fault.
