Todd Bentley talks about the One God
Lastnight I was watching the FL revival thing and Todd went into how Jesus was God. He went through this whole drawn out thing about the one God, Jesus! Unfortunately I can not post the video from work. Even if I could I have no clue how to do it. My thought or question to you all ripping him apart, does this give him credibility now in your eyes?

I don't know who he is, JT. As for posting the video, just copy and paste the link.

Re: Todd Bentley talks about the One God
Many trinitarians and oneness both believe the following:
There is one God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
God is an invisible Spirit who fills all time and space. Jesus is that invisible God localized and made visible.
Jesus is YHWH, the one God of the Old Testament, who came in flesh as a human to redeem humankind.
Jesus lives in our hearts as the Holy Spirit.
The word "one" can mean a single unit or it can mean "united" depending on its context.
Some trinitarians and some oneness believe that the only way we will see God in Heaven is in the person of Jesus.

Very good Sam.
I would go so far as to say pretty much ALL Oneness and Trinitarian Pentecostals believe that!

Re: Todd Bentley talks about the One God
Guys I agree. St. Mark you would consider me 'one of us.' I can not get on Youtube or anything here at work. Even if I could the filter here would not let me view the video so I would not even know if I was posting the correct one. But if any of us on here closed our eyes and listened to what he was saying everyone would say, 'he sounds like one of us.' I promise you!

"Sounds like" one of us and being "one of us" are two different things. He is not one of us. He is at best deluded. But based on his demonic symbols and statements regarding his Emma (no female angels in the Bible) he is deeply into religious witchcraft.

you said it, even our most simple understanding of scripture and what should be Holy Ghost filled common sense is just layed by the wayside...
I'll take it step further at the risk of backlash and say that those apostolics who do attend probably do so searching for something their own church lacks.
.
I share your amazement...

In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter
