well, why the question?

I am being honest here. You are suggesting that you may not be able to vote for McCain because his wife spent a bunch of money on an outfit.

I am asking why that matters at all? I sure would like an answer to this question.

I'm trying to say that the reasons to not vote for Obama are far more serious and impacting than what Cindy paid for her earrings or not, besides the fact that NONE of those Washington politicians live a life that could help any of them relate to how we live. They are all rich.

Re: Do I still vote for McCain after this?

well your right it shouldnt sway my vote thats why i asked everyones opinion.....I guess i just cant relate ....i kinda contradict myself because i dont think someone in the lower to middle class has any buisness running the country because they have no experince with the amount of money they will have to balance . but my question to rcraig was would she spend $280,000 on earrings if she was worth 100 million or would she still buy the one's she always bought ....and she answered the question .I never said Cindy McCain or any other million air should live as if they were in poverty just said it would be kind of hard to relate to the effect a bad economy would have on a poor or middle class family .....that matters...not that i believe our current economy is bad.

Re: Do I still vote for McCain after this?

Redmann, I can't tell you what to base your vote on, but I can tell you what I'm going to base mine on. A lot of it has to do with whether you believe this country is in going in the right or wrong direction. If you believe that it's going in the right direction, I believe McCain would be a logical choice. John McCain has been a defender and supporters of the policy of the current Bush administration. As a matter of fact, 95% of his votes were cast in support of GWB. If you are satisfied and supportive of the direction of the country, he's your man.

Now if you believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, I believe your findings on McCain will justify you finding another candidate. I'm not supporting or endorsing any particular one. You'll have to do the research on each other candidate, including the third party options and write-in's and make up your own mind.

I think voters opinions on the general direction of the country will be the deciding factor in November.

Jesus rebuked those who critized the woman for her choice. If Cindy has over 100 million and gives over 1 million a year to charity who are we to judge her for having some diamonds. Sounds like jealousy.
A lot of it is jealousy.
A lot of them seem to not know that the McCains give a lot more to charity than the Obamas.
McCain and his wife reported donating $129,390, or about 18%, of their joint income to charity in 2006 and nearly $211,000, or about 27%, last year. McCain's campaign says he donates royalties from his five books to charity, as well as each increase to his Senate salary since he first took office in 1991.

The Clintons gave $3 million to charity last year, about 15% of their income, and a total of more than $10 million over the past eight years, according to summaries released by her campaign. The Obamas gave $240,000 to charity last year, about 6% of their income.

Just to sharp stick Mike in Arkansas.....

If one thinks the country is on the wrong track but still believes that socialism is a vastly wrong track, they will get socialism by voting for a third party that doesnt believe in socialism.... because a vote for a third party is a vote for Barak Obama who is a socalist....

peace....

Well said.
People need to keep in mind that Obama & Biden's America will be very different from McCain & Palin's America.

This election comes down to... which of these two Americas would you prefer to live in.

Bro, I dont get this notion that taking a road that is worse than the road we are on is better than taking the road we are on....even if you think this road is a bad one....

which I dont.... I do think some of the republicans in washington need a good sound beating. some of them have decided to spend way too much. Others have become quite corrupt.

that doesnt mean i want to elect other people that would spend even more.

Ferd, every time I see this video it reminds me why this man would be very very bad for our country. If every American voter were to see this video, and understands the ramifications of what this man is saying, McCain would win in a landslide.....
