Re: Do I still vote for McCain after this?

Let me have some big money and then ask me how would I spend it.

Mccain and Palin aren't perfect but what does the other side offer the American people ?

I cannot honestly answer that because I have the mindset of someone making under $100K - not $100M.

not likely. I only have one ear pierced and it has been so many years since i wore an ear ring, that the hole is likely closed.....

however I cannot promise that I would not purchase a Maybach... they cost more than that.

why does this matter?

why do you require those with more to be content with things that middle class people can afford?

Quality is always the priority. When you make more you tend to spend more for that. I would love to own all Italian made shoes, but I can't afford them.

Ya gotta love politics.
The huge difference here is that Edwards was talking about the "two Americas" painting himself as someone who was an advocate for the have nots all the while he was getting $400 haircuts and buying a multi million dollar estate.

Its like Al Gore preaching living green to us all while he globe trots around the world in a private jet and sucking up tons of energy in his palatial mansion. The Dems need to come clean with Americans: they say they are for the less fortunate, but they are for the less fortunate when its with OUR money; not theirs.

The Gores were giving less than 1% of their income to charity for years until it made headline news. Someone already posted what the McCains give to charity. If they buy expensive clothes but they give a significant portion of their income to charity---WHO CARES.

If someone declares they are for the poor but they give very little to them personally, that is truly hypocritical.

PS I like it when rich people spend money. that is one of the things that keeps the economy buzzing along.

the other thing that really helps the economy is when rich people hire folk like me. that really helps too.
