Church in Maribondo, Brazil needs land
Dear Friends in the Homeland
I would like to ask you to pray about a need that must be met by next week. I am one of the Alvear’s son in laws and a pastor of a church in a city called Maribondo. The church is built on leased land which is the custom in many foreign countries. The owner called us last week and explained that they are dividing up their inheritance. They asked us $1,300 dollars for the land because the building already belongs to us. It is in a very good location close to the downtown area of this small city.
Since I have been involved in missions such a short time my supporters are few and in prayer I thought I must make this request known to Gods people.
The Bible speaks about “sending portions to those for whom nothing is prepared”. The small group of people that I have at Maribondo are not able to do this alone. Their world is much different than your world and they are in need of your help.
My mother in law speaks so well of the folks here on this forum. Many whom have given to missions far beyond of what is required. Many of whom have sacrificed over the years for different needs in Brazil. I know that God will bless you for all your prayers and offerings that you have sent. May I humbly ask for you to pray about this need and if you should feel to help in any way please earmark you offering for “Maribondo Land”. Thank You and may God bless you.
