What are you thankful for?!

As I was driving home from work today and listening to the radio, an song came on that set my soul a fire...it speaks the sentiments of my heart.

I am thankful for life, health and strength, and that of my mother...

I am thankful for salvation...

I am thankful for my family...

I am thankful for my good and close to home job...

I am thankful for my dear and close friends...

I am just thankful...

Tragedies are common place
All kinds of diseases, people are slipping away
Economys down...people cant get enough pay
But as for me, all I can say is
Thank you Lord for all you done for me

Folks without homes...living out in the streets
And the drug habit some say they just cant beat
Muggers and robbers...no place seems to be safe
But you've been my protection every step of the way
I wanna say, thank you Lord for all you done for me

It could've been me outdoors
With no food and no clothes
Or left alone without a friend
Or just another number with a tragic end

But you didnt see fit to let none of these things be
And everyday by you power you keep on keeping me
Thank you Lord for all you've done for me

I'm thankful that God is giving us direction.

I'm thankful for my family...my husband and all my boys.

I'm thankful that I have love in my heart.

I'm thankful for so many things, a wonderful family, a roof over my head, a job, a car, never having to go hungry, the gift of Christ, his mercy and grace in my life, but the most amazing gift God has ever given me, outside of eternal life, is this beautiful child.

My wonderful husband who is STILL ALIVE after surviving a ruptured aortic aneurism.

Two fantastic sons who are great people.

Lots of good friends who have been there for me more than I ever deserved.

MOST of all, I am thankful for a God who loves me, keeps me, comforts me, strengthens me, is faithful, provides all my needs (and many, many of my wishes).

I am thankful to live in a country where we are free to worship as we choose and where there is nothing illegal about having some of the debates that we have here on AFF

I am thankful that someone with more time on his hands than me, used some of that time to invent something called the internet, so that we could all get on here and meet each other and get to know each other and care about each other.
