Joe Satriani - "Is There Love In Space" has to be one of the best rock intrumental albums I have ever heard.
Jimmy Hendrix - With songs like, Purple Haze, Voodoo Child, Little Wing, and All Along the Watchtower, I am amazed at the feeling that is in his music.
Shawn Lane - one of the best and least known guitar greats out there. A true genius who sometimes would read like 5 to 10 books per day. At one time his album "Powers of Ten" was going on ebay for like $300 because capital records would not release his music. I used to have to find underground videos and tapes to get his music but now that we have youtube it is not so hard. He died in 2003 at the age of 40.

Stevie Ray Vaughn of course. I actually like his version of Little Wing better than Hendrix's version.
B. B. King, Clapton, Buddy Guy, Joe Pass, Wess Montgomery.
And of course
DELTAGUTIAR!!!
I have been mostly inspired by blues/rock guitarist and have brought most of that style into our church.
Here is a video our pastor shot of our band practicing after youth service wednesday night. He posted in on youtube last night. I know the sound quality is bad but what else can you expect with blaring music five feet from the camera.
