What's on your desk?

We used to do these threads occasionally, and every time we did them my list of items would be one of the longest ones posted.

I cleaned out and organized the office again this week, so today my desk is still fairly neat.

Top shelf:
A snowman candle lamp
A snowman candy jar
The speakers attached to my computer
Michael's glasses

Mid shelves:
Tape dispenser
Stapler
7 CDs
Digital camera
Small Rolodex

The work area of the desk:
Monitor
Calculator
Desk organizer containing pencils, pens, scissors, etc
Calendar
A yellow highlighter
A blue papermate pen
Cordless phone
Small candy jar with peppermint candy
Two Nicholas Sparks paperback books
Folder with insurance company choices that hubby brought home from work today...
and the last thing is...A bottle of white grape flavored water

If you think that's bad, you should have seen my last list.

What's on your desk?

I think a picture would communicate much more then simply listing stuff.

Where do I begin?

I don't blame you. I wouldn't want to make a list of all that either!! That looks like mine always looked before when these threads got started.

Well...let me take a look...

Top of the hutch:

Framed picture of my kids, sitting atop my journal, The Five Love Languages of Children, and Becoming a Person of Influence. Then a picture of Jeff and Jeffrey, a pic of Sarah, a Normal Rockwell tin full of old photos, a book on tape (The Generosity Factor), and my Dad's pocket Bible.

Whew. Next...inside the hutch shelves...well...various music CD's, including Women of Worship (from KP's church in Austin--has my sister, PJ on it), Shout Praises for Kids, and NSYCU from IBC Music Fest. Pilates DVD's that I haven't used in way too long, DVD's of the kids', Lemonade Tycoon, and a little paper box of small trinkets and keepsakes.

On the desk itself...my Sunday School book, TV remote, a purple thumbtack, a red inkpen, a coaster, and two small bobbie pins. A Thank-You card for my Mom, for some new casserole dishes she bought me, which I haven't mailed yet...I wrote it a week ago.
