Well just thought I would share with you an update on my progress.
I went from two crutches to one.
Still have my boot cast that I wear most of the day.
I have been blessed to be back at work for three weeks now.
My boss was glad to have me back. My dept was a disaster zone.
CNN should have covered it.
I am in Physiotherapy three times a week now & when I started, I didn't know what to expect.
Helga and her sister Greta went to work on my foot.
Thankfully they gave me a pillow to stifle the screams.
Actually it was a phsyio named Carey who went to massage on my foot.
Heeeeyyy, this ain't so bad.
That is until she made me flip on my stomach and then proceeded to massage her thumb into my ankle.
Something about stimulating the circulation. If she presses any harder, I will be circulating all over the floor.
They say I have three-five months of Physio ahead of me.
The insicion still hurts, and the what with the screws on one side and the plate on the other I will probably need surgery to take it out.
Appreciate the prayers while I am on the mend.
I showed a few of the brethren after Church on Sunday my battle scars.
The young men said, Wow, Coool, that musta hurt!
Such insight and wisdom from the future generation-I feel secure.
On a serious note my blood pressure is not responding to medicine.
Gonna have to get a touch from Jesus, otherwise I will be seeing him sooner than I thought!
God Bless!
Ron
