Unpleasant But Fruitful.

Greet every saint in christ Jesus. The Brethren who are with me greet you.
All the saints greet you ,but especially those who are of Caesar's household.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.Amen.
Philippians.4:21,22,23 NKJV

Here we can see from the greeting and blessing given at the end of Paul's letter to the Christian congregation at Philippi that Paul's Christian witness ,had reached Caesar's household.

Paul had to go through the unplesant experience of Roman inprisonment, in order to see His Christian testimony reach the household of the Emperor.

Being in Roman inprisonment in Paul's day was a most unplesant experience ,but Paul's inprisonment is also regarded as one of the fruitful periods of The Apostle's ministry.

During the time of Paul's Roman inprisonment ,some of his most Christ exalting works were penned.
You see our periods of life that our most unplesant to our flesh, might be some of our most fruitful of Christian witness.
Our light shines the brighest in our dark times ,our faith keeps us.

We might be going through a most unplesant time of our Christian experience ,but it could be our most fruitful period of our Christian existence.

What might be deemed as unplesant, can be most fruitful in service to our master.

I'm obviously not one to critique a sermon idea, or biblical pondering, but a very small constructive criticism (only because you asked):

You should always open with at least a couple of sentences of your own as an introduction before the scripture... then the scripture, and then the "meat" of your thoughts and a summary. For me at least, when the first thing I see is scripture, I am not as likely to read it, but that is probably just me)... also, you should always use spell check when you are writing something that you are "presenting" to an audience, otherwise people will get distracted by things which are not really important, rather than what you are actually trying to say.

Otherwise, great post!

Unpleasant But Fruitful.

Bro. Scott,

Your post had some very good points. In fact so much so

that a long post was written but just as it was being submitted,

a wrong key was hit and away it went. Perhaps it was for another

time. It also gave me a second message but I KNEW it was for

another time, and another thread. Your post may have been

just for me because it brought two messages at least to my mind!

Thank you, Bro. Scott!!!

Blessings,

Falla39
