To those going through trials

Way into the night I prayed and this morning I felt like the Lord spoke a song to my heart. As many of you know we have been so hard hit lately and we came suddenly to the states and 2-3 times we cancelled out churches where we had planned to preach to pay our fare due to my sister's deep need.
Last month Micheal's car was stolen. Chad's was wrecked (hit by a bandit running from the police) and then to top it off our son not on purpose run over a man on the church bus and the man died and our son was trying to help but does not have the right kind of driver's licence so we are worried sick over that...Neither Brother Alvear or myself have felt well. We have a person giving us lots of heartache and you that over see know the weight of church now imagine the weight of many church scattered thousands of miles apart...Sometimes the load gets heavy...Yet until He calls we will carry on. Many many things I could not put on a public forum however we ALL face many giants...

Brother Alvear is returning to Brazil Monday if possible to see about things but I must stay as I do a ladies meeting in Dayton, Ohio.

Pray for our pastors in Brazil many of them are facing many things right now.

YET in the mist of it all REPORTS of great victories have been sent to us, churches being built, people recieving the Holy Ghost and the new jungle work is growing. God is moving by His spirit. The devil hates light inhis dark kingdom. Our brothers are working on building more dorms behind our hearquarters church. In time we will bring young men from many areas of Brazil and teach them and send them out as national missionaries. The devil hates plans like these but we KNOW GOD is victor!

This is the song I woke up singing this morning:

He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labors increase;
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials he multiplies peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

I had just told one of my daughter in laws, I am exhausted...she said Mom. you have never said that before...

My Dear Sis Alvear,

Please don't think I'm being critical, I'm just trying to encourage you. Your problem is that you are asking God to help you carry those cares. He doesn't want you to carry any of them. He want's to carry all of them for you. He says to throw all (not part) all of your care on Him. (1 Peter 5:7). "Don't be full of care about anything." AMP (Phil 4:6-7)

I know this idea runs counter to most people's theology, they have the idea that God is testing them, placing burdens on them just to see just how much they can carry, before they collapse under the load. God wants to help us every day if we would just let Him.

I remember some time ago, I had had a week in which it seemed that everything that could go wrong, did go wrong on my job. I felt exhausted (like you do). I was just worn out from chasing emergencies. On Friday I forgot and left home with out any cash. I only had credit cards. I was on I-20east about 120 miles from Dallas, where I stopped to get some gas and food. I got a crispy chicken sandwich at Wendy's, but forgot the gas. A few miles down the road I ran out of gas. Just then one of my foremen called me and said the big machine had broken down. Then my brother, who worked for me, called and said his truck had stopped and he was stranded out in the boonies. I was too ashamed to tell him where I was. (lol.) I sat there beside the highway, disgustedly thinking, when is all this going to end? Then I remembered a friend told me how he cast all his care on Jesus. He was a trinitarian, BTW. I thought if it worked for him, surely it will work for me? (TIC) So in desperation I cried out, "Jesus, I cast all this care on you, just like your Word says to do. I'm not going to worry about it anymore", and I didn't. I got out and sat on the tailgate of my truck and started eating my crispy chicken sandwich. Before I could finish, two little old ladies in a pickup truck, stopped and said, "Can we help you?" The scripture says, "before you call, I will answer". Someone had taken my gas can out of my truck. I thought ,"Oh! Great! Now I'll have to buy another gas can", but when we got to the gas station, the lady said, "You don't have to buy that gas can, I'll get you a container from the back to put your gas in, for free." At this point I was beginning to think, "Maybe That Word really will work for me too". The little old ladies even took me back to my truck. My brother called, "Everything is fine", he said. Next, my foreman called, "Everything is fine". Praise God!!!

I learned a great lesson that day. The Word will work if you will work it. Too often, we don't recognize God's hand working in our daily lives, unless it's a bolt of lightning or shockamoo.

God's Word spoken in faith, out of our mouth is just as powerful, as if Jesus was here in the flesh, saying the same thing.

Sis Alvear, try it out, just make that move, then sit back and watch God work everything out for your good. Be sure to let us know if it works or if it doesn't.

His grace is extended every day that you live through the work of your precious hands.

Today it is being returned to you one hundred fold, in Jesus Name!!

Sis. Alvear, I have just been a "lurker" lately.....but you probably have many more prayers being made for you than you realize. So, from this "lurker" know that I'm going through some very tough times now - but I know that God is able to make all things brand new. Here is what I have to tell myself: If some things NEVER improve on this side of eternity, we have the promise that all things will be made new where we will see Him as He is and be in His presence forevermore. I pray that God gives you and your family Grace to stand when you feel you are so weak. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. When you're leaning on Him, you know you're not leaning to your own understanding. You are a wise woman and you know where to go for your strength and help.

God bless.

That's the way of it it seems, Mother...when God is moving and doing His thing, the devil lets loose with havoc and tries to do his thing.

But having read the back of The Book, we know what his end will be and that we have victory in Jesus.

So we continually, every second of every day, cast down imaginations and resist the enemy, pleading the Blood and never fearing to rebuke him, in Jesus Name, speaking the Word of truth.

Yes and Aman! The more the devil fights the more we go into his dark kingdom to bring souls to the Kingdom of light...
