Danny Chambers-Oasis Worship Centre- Nashville

CC1, Pianoman, any others in the area of Nashville, Tn do any of you all know about this man? He was at my church awhile back he was fantastic in his ministry. He spoke a great word. He has a lastname of Chambers, I wonder if he is any relation to the Chambers that helped start the UPCI?

Anyone know?

My daughter lived about a block and a half from this church in Nashville for the past 13 months. Some of her friends went there, but she went a few times and didn't like it at all. She thought it was pretty unorganized and loose.

Danny has no relations to UPC at all, as far as I know. I know this is his second wife, but I don't know the story. I know his church has grown by leaps and bounds. Some people from our town here went there for a long time until we started our church here in Jackson. So they obviously thought he was great - very relevant preaching.

I've never been, so it's hard for me to say anything more.

I have never heard of him but I think I know where the church is at.

Now I do know about The Oasis in Los Angeles on Wilshire Blvd! That is my wifes favorite church in LA.

All I know is that Pastor Phil had him preach for the church here and man did he hit the nail on the head in my life an others. He is a great, great singer and I enjoyed his ministry. I agree with you all his church has grow like crazy. He told the story about it. Just not sure where his roots are.

Not sure about him being married twice - someone find out for sure before you judge

I have known Danny Chambers for many years and knew his father Bud Chambers and his uncle Johnny Chambers. Bud Chambers passed away in January at the age of 74. He was very close to Danny. Bud wrote MANY songs - like "I'm a Poor Poor Rich Man" and "Born to Serve The Lord", "One More River To Cross" and many others.

I just talked to my brother who lives in the Nashville area and neither of us have ever heard that Danny is twice married. Where did you hear that?
I guess it could be true - but I have never heard that. I was in Marshall's one day there and he was in there and we talked about his Dad and what a blessing he was to the Kingdom. I sang for years an old song he wrote - SOUL HEALING!
The entire Chambers crew had a Independent Trinity (A/G I think) background and were in the Healing and Deliverance Ministry. They would throw up a tent almost anywhere and attract a crowd with their high energy singing and music.

Elder Epley could probably tell a TALE or two about Bud and Johnny - I know some stories myself! LOL
Really though - Danny seems to be a great guy and I think they have TWO campuses there in Metro Nashville.
NO RELATION TO THE UPC Chambers at all!

I received a very nice letter from TBN thanking me for being on and then today they called and asked me to come back on next Tuesday night and to bring Marie and that they would put our names and the name of the church up and give me more time in an introduction!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marie and I will also be on TV 57 Atlanta Live on October 22 for two hours and they asked me to sing six songs in between the interview.
