Please pray... again

Ok here goes again... I am just going to post the email I sent to my family and friends here so I dont have to retype... sorry its long but please take the short couple min to read and pray Thank you!

Hello Friends and Family,

I am coming to you all with an urgent prayer request! Robert, my husband has a lot of health issues that have occurred all of the sudden and needs some serious prayer going on so if you don’t mind, say a prayer for him!

He went to the dr when we were living in La and they came to him and said that they had some of his blood work come back and his white count (I believe it was the white) came back all out of whack and shows signs along with some other tests they have done for liver disease. So he then went to the Dr in OKC and heard same thing but the dr there didn’t pursue it so we didn’t think it was a big deal.. well 2 months ago, actually the week before we moved to Dallas his dr in Tyler saw the same thing and said it seems to be getting worse and he needed to get it checked immediately. So he went to a Dr here in town the day before he left for work 2 weeks ago and they called me last Friday and let me know that yes it does show the same thing and they needed to see him soon…so then
Last Wednesday he was at work and had to take himself to the ER after work for heat exhaustion/mild heat stroke. While laying there in the bed they came running in with EKG machines and so on and said that his blood work etc came back with all the signs that he had just had a massive heart attack!!!! The EKG however came back showing that he had not.. however he is really not acting himself and really not feeling well at all… So then while at a follow up appointment they also find a spot on his back which has been there for a while but is now growing and they believe it to be cancer. He is going to the Dr Friday morning at 10:45 am to see if he has #1 liver disease #2 if he did have a heart attack and #3 to see if this spot is indeed cancer which as of right now we have had 2 drs who believe it is. and I am asking you all to pray!! PLEASE!

I know God sent Robert into my life and I refuse to let the devil steal him from me! I am really scared… hurt and confused… for those who know and have followed the last few yrs.. you know we are no strangers to drama but this is just getting a little old! I am ready for the blessing because the fire has been hot and long and we are getting tired,,, sorry for such a long book here but just please pray…..

Also Zoey (Coren) is looking at possibly having to have foot surgery and Mike is not doing well with his asthma so just keep all of us in prayers pretty much and thanks!

Amazing Grace,

I am praying right now. I know how frightening it is when you are scared you might lose your husband. Believe me. I wish I could somehow reach through this monitor into your home and wrap you in a warm hug. At times like this, it helps so much if there is someone you can lean on to draw your strength. Please let us be your "someone". We love ya, girlfriend!!

Only God knows what His plans are for you and for your family. But we know that He promises that His plans are for your good and not for evil. Let's trust Him together.

Thank you all so much! This has been a really rough day! We are gonna make it...We had awesome church tonight! Pastor had Rob come up and prayed for him and I really feel that God touched him.

He is scared. He is honest about that, thats what makes this so hard.. he is one of the "tough guys" who is never scared but he is this time. I heard him talkin to his momma tonight and it just hurt so bad to hear him scared....

Thanks for the prayers, he goes in tomorrow am for some more blood work and then his appointment Friday morning we should have some final results

Sis... I closed this thread, and felt to come back to it. This song really ministers to me when I am worried and scared about things that are beyond my control. The video quality isn't the best, but I wanted to share it anyway...

Thank you! I am sitting here now just crying. That song really touched my heart this morning and thanks for being a friend! God bless you! Now.. gotta run him to the dr for more blood work...

Thank you Dan and Blu, and everyone else...

Got thru the blood work part of it... I think I cried more sitting in my corner of the drs office today then I have so far... It just kind of all hit... talking about biopsys and all that stuff... I sat there and looked around like there should have been someone else sitting there then it hit me... this is "my husband"!!

God is in control and I am holding onto him...
