Another Apostolic Outpouring!

Well, folks, I don't want to start another war about whether or not God can or will do whatever; but I've got to testify about what God DID do for us tonight!

Been in revival but closed last week. I had to preach a District thing in Alabama Friday and Saturday and on my way home my voice just... well... left! Today I've been down to a whisper so my oldest son, my Assistant Pastor, was going to preach tonight. Two things interesting about that:
1. I had a red hot message chisled out and ready to go. Obviously, with my voice as it was God had other plans.
2. NOBODY has ever preached from among my local preachers on a Sunday Night. For 19 years that has been traditionally reserved for their Pastor alone. Tonight I didn't have a choice.

However, after the first song God hit me like a lightening bolt and said, "You are anointed now to release joy in their lives. You lay your hands on them but have your young preachers speak the word of faith to them as you pray."

Well, needless to say I'd never quite done it that way before - laying hands on people and allowing others to speak a word of faith to them - but I knew what God had said. So I obeyed God and walked to the pulpit and 'whispered' what God had said because, frankly, I had no other option as I had no voice. The Holy Ghost began to shake the place and people came running from all over the building. (I felt sorry for some of our Texas Bible College students that came to visit us tonight... it blew up after the first song.)

I found myself running around the building putting a young preacher in front of me and would lay my hand on their head and pray silently while the young preacher began to minister to them. There are NO WORDS that can tell you what all happened! The Holy Ghost fell in such a way that before the night was over people started shouting out of the old building and into the unfinished building still under construction! Some in the old and there was some in the new and nobody much cared where anybody else was because the power of God was so thick!

Before it was over there was probably 250 of them in the new building shouting and dancing on the concrete floors and platform, running around the sidewalks of the construction area and laying all over the dust laden balconies!

The Gifts of the Spirit began to fall in BOTH buildings and we saw several miracles! Arm braces left in the concrete floors and slings tossed aside. A spirit of prophecy came on me and literally BOOMED out with a voice that was only a whisper moments earlier (I didn't realize my voice had been strong until it was all over) and God elevated our hearts to a new dimension tonight that some have never walked in!

Hands down one of the top 4 services I've ever been in during my entire life. I included a few pictures and actually have some video taken with a cell phone that I will load if I can only learn how.

Again, if some choose not to believe... so be it. I'm a believer and a receiver!

Thanks again for another encouraging testimony. May God keep blessing you and your fellowship above all that you can ask or think according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

I hope this becomes a weekly thing with you, and Lord willing, I'll be posting some reports like this in the near future.

I, like you, just don't understand people who don't rejoice when God moves and blesses.

Thanks for the encouragement! It's good to konw that God keeps on blessing in spite of all the chaos we've been dealing with for a couple of years now.
