Church of Champions launches its first Spanish service

This afternoon, the Church of Champions of Houston, pastored by Wendell Hutchins had their first Spanish service. One of the associate pastors, Joe Rios is heading the effort. I was able to attend and we had a great time. I estimate that 60-70 were present. Bishop Hutchins and a handful of English-only speakers were also there.

I really enjoy services in Spanish .... I will be going to Grace in the mornings ... and I am considering going to these services at 2 pm. Pastor Rios has asked for my help in the sound ministry and in other areas ... I am thinking about it.

Excellent!!! My church, Christ Church Nashville, has had a Spanish language service on Sunday afternoons for several years now. I think they are running about 120 with about 80 of that number being adults.

Daniel,

Have you ever attended "Emmaus and Beyond?" I'm thinking about going to the one in January.

I'm confused. I attended COC with my dad for years. They've had a spanish ministry since I was a young teen.

man, that's awesome. Elder Rios needs the help. He is a great man.
My Dad has already volunteered to fly down to preach for him
How many people were in attendance?
