The UPCI is not alone in Political Issues

Check out the ongoing politics at the AOG Convention.

This portion was found in that article:

"Chas Decker from Penn/Delaware retorted, “This bothers me that after hearing how the Assemblies of God in America has declined or stayed stagnant while the rest of the world has grown that we aren’t willing to at least try to be more relevant."

It appears that the word "relevance" is the new key word nowadays. It seems that the pursuit of relevance is the rallying cry of all whom desire to find their relevance.

More power to them. I hope that they all of the relevance pursurers find what they are looking for.

I noticed in a link off of the thread being mentioned that it stated that
out of all conversions taking place in the Assembly of God, only 25%
follow through to water baptism and only 20% receive the Baptism of the
Holy Ghost.

Right before I left my old church, the Pastor was making a big push for water baptisms among the newly converted. It is always mentioned, but he started devoting time before every sermon or Bible Study to implore the saints to obey the Word in getting baptized in water.

I love seeing people get baptized!

"The UPCI is not alone in Political Issues"
any cult will naturally be involved in politics, as they are of the world.
