I met...................

Both of our sons are adopted. Our youngest son meets every year with his biological grandmother and biological half brother. We usually travel to Geauga County for this meeting. But because of Walt's aneurism, I am not willing to go that far away from this area. So MOW very generously allowed us to meet with Keith's grandma at his church, which is much closer to home. This meeting was extra special for his grandma because it allowed Keith to play the keyboard for her - something she has never heard him do. She was so thrilled.

MOW and I got to spend some time chatting. I really enjoyed our visit. He is a very nice man. Exactly the same as you see here on the forum.

I have a couple of pictures. Unfortunately, the ones of MOW and myself are not very good. My 13 year old son took them - hehehe. Let me see if I can find a decent enough one. In the meantime, here is one of MOW alone.

And then, this evening Walt & I had the privilege of having supper with Stephen Hoover, his wife Kristen and their 3 beautiful daughters!! We had a terrific visit and really enjoyed getting to know these fine people. If you ever get a chance to visit with them, do it (altho I understand Steve has already met about half of the forum!! Lucky him!)

By the way, thanks for buying supper, Steve! What a nice treat! I still feel guilty about that, but sure appreciate it anyway

What a great priviledge it was to meet both Margie and her miracle husband Walt!

They are not only pleasant folks, but they also truely inspired me. It is apparant to me that the hand of God is on there lives.

It is so nice to be halfway across the country and stop for dinner with an "old friend" you have never met!

Bless You!

Steve (and Kristin) Hoover

Sis. Hoover has gorgeous blue eyes...just thought I'd comment.

I am glad you got to meet these folks. I'd sure like to sit down with MOW and Mrs. MOW and talk about old times...maybe someday.

Blessings, Rhoni

Awe... you noticed too!?! She gets many comments abouts those eyes. They compelled me to a marriage altar!

Some people marry for love. You married for eyes?? LOL

I can't tell you what a great time we had at dinner with this fine family!! I wish we had had several hours more. They got to hear all about us and about Walt's story - and we're ALWAYS glad to tell that story!! God deserves honor and praise and glory every chance we get to give it to Him!!!! But I would have enjoyed hearing more about their experience first-hand, as well. Maybe someday we'll get a chance to meet again. I hope!!

I'm so jealous. I probably passed by you all at some point but didn't know it.
