Spotts said there will be balloons at a public memorial the family plans to hold. No date has been set, but it probably won't take place for at least a month. Spotts said Messner's second husband, Roe, who was with her when she died, has carried out her final instructions "to the letter." That included having Rev. Randy McCain, an openly gay minister from the Open Door Community Church in Sherwood, Ark., conduct the private service.

After viewing the photo gallerys of this church, it seems that some of the Southern Gospel "world" is opening up to the "gay" Christian market. Artist such as Joyce Martin of The Martins, Kenny Bishop of the Bishops and Kirk Talley of the Talleys have all "ministered" at this church.

Also noticed that Cynthia Clawson is a frequent guest.

Even though he shares his "testimony" of how he was delivered from homosexual temptations......................



Those others don't really surprise me either because to most of them it isn't a music ministry any more it is just business..........

Without a doubt, this is THE most disgusting thing I have ever seen, and I have seen alot. It reminds me of a party of smiling and pigs content to be in the mud, urine and feces.

I feel so sorry for the kids in that social group, as not to refer to it as a "church".

I feel this when reading that link and testimonies.When people feel other
people are their salvation and not God then it creates a problem of putting
others before the gospel.I cannot speak of the couple's relationship with
Jesus but one seems to think the other has been his Savior and they
still have the I love Jesus thing going on.Its an imbalance.He should have
not felt guilt about his feelings but have gone for deliverance.Those
childhood relationship things along with rejection in his early years contributed
to his gender confusion.It opened doors alright.The main title of that
church is open door.What they need to do is shut the doors and kick the
devil out and keep those door shut.

Jay Bakker has been a frequent guest speaker at this church.

Obviously that is the direct connection to the Tammy Fay death observance.
