Brother, I heard FEMA is practically giving away their overstock of trailers they bought after Katrina. I know this isn't a motorized RV, but maybe you could save enough on one of those to buy yourself a really nice truck to pull it.

It wasn't a diesel but someone I know recently sold a 1998 34' Bounder Class A motor home with just 23,000 miles on it and in great shape for $16,000
I wish I could have bought it.

BTW, my son and I went fishing for a few hours this afternoon and evening. On our way home we decided to stop at a convenience store to pick up a couple of sodas. Anyway, there was a fella there fueling up his RV. It cost him $192.10!! He told me it had 3/4 tank of fuel before he started too! I was flabbergasted!

I personally think that a 5th wheel is better... with a motor home, you still have to pull a car. They are hard to cool going down the highway. Upkeep is expensive. While roomy going down the road, they are a little hard to walk in when going down the road. A 5th wheel pulls great, and one vehical to maintance, verses two...

Re: " WANTED - 38/40' Diesel Motorhome "
I have a 2003 39 Ft. I would sell. It has 25,000 miles on it. It has a 330 CAT with six speed Allison transmission.
