Wouldn’t a steak from a red heifer be rare no matter how you cooked it??
On a more serious note. The red heifer discussion came up over the weekend. And the fact that these red heifers are from Texas. So . . .
Wouldn’t the heifer need to be locally born and bred to qualify?
Wouldn’t it have to be from the promised land?
They really can’t sacrifice a gentile heifer, can they?

It doesn’t matter where the animal is born. In Biblical times it would be convenient for the animals to be in close proximity of the temple for convenience. The main issue is the perfection of the animal. Unblemished sacrifice. Which as the Bible will attest the ancient Judeans and Israelites frequently offered up less than perfect sacrifices onto the Lord ( Malachi 1:8 ). The whole destroy the dome of the rock and the mosque of Omar, is more an American Christian idea than a Rabbinical idea. Yes, there are groups of modern Rabbinic and Settlers who are believe in reinstating temple sacrifice. But, it’s not accepted across the board within Rabbinical Judaism. Yet as I type this post out Modern Israel have bigger problems to worry about, and I’m not even talking about October 7th, or Gaza. April 1st 2024 the extension which the Orthodox Yeshiva students to be exempt from the IDF military is over. Modern Israel must vote again wether to extend to keep the yeshiva student exempt. Or vote to demand they be drafted into the IDF. That my dear brethren is a big problem. Not to mention all the protests against Benjamin Netanyahu. So, those five red cows they purchased for $500,000 are going to have to wait awhile.

You mean the Lord is still bringing to naught the plans of the wicked?
Huh!
Imagine that!
