Who has time for a baby?
If you don't want the sleepless nights, the hassle of raising another human being and having to actually be responsible for the next generation, why not just get yourself a virtual baby? They cost less, sleep more and you can turn them on and off at your convenience. Doesn't that just sound great?!
I really wish I was kidding.

If you thought the Tamagotchi Generation was a 1990s phenomenon, think again.
In the not-so-distant future, those looking to expand their families may opt to do so with the help of artificial intelligence.
The average American child costs parents more than $230,000 by the time they reach the age of 17, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
A digital kid, on the other hand, could have all its needs met for less than $25 per month — that’s just about $5,100 by the time they reach high school graduation — according to the UK’s leading artificial intelligence expert.

Re: Who has time for a baby?
Well, my wife and I aren't quite ready to have children yet, but it's coming. I don't think either of us would be happy with a virtual baby. That's just weird.

Got 8 real ones. 4 grown, all still in church. Oldest daughter is married to a pastor, Oldest son is assistant pastor.
Nothing like a big family.

You and your wife sleep in separate rooms?

Re: Who has time for a baby?
Just found out this week we are expecting number 6. Kids are a blessing from the Lord. People are to selfish these days to want kids. They are going to have regrets as they get older.
