Where is heaven

Or where is heaven not?

Is it here and we cannot physically see it? Is it far “up there” somewhere, and we cannot physically see it?

Better question is, will there be barbeque?

Genesis 1:1 says in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Most of the usage of heaven refers to the sky.

Isaiah 66:1 says heaven is the throne of God and the earth is His footstool. It seems to be referring to our physical heaven and earth as the place of God's authority.

Matthew 24:35 says heaven and earth will pass away. And Rev 21 says there will be a new heaven and earth. It seems to be referring to a transformation into a new order devoid of sin and death rather than an actual physical replacement.

I think that we are heading back to the tree of life Rev 21, Rev 22 and the garden where God walked with his creation before sin and death marred creation. If the garden of eden existed on planet earth then so will our new home as creation is set free from its bondage to decay, Romans 8:21.

You have to define which heaven you are asking about: the sky, or the firmament, or beyond the firmament?

Or the one that was, or the one that is now, or the one that is coming?

Location of heaven, in the above verse.

2 kings 6:17
Location of where these heavenly beings “reside”, or are they always here surrounding us, with us….here on earth, we just can’t see them?

I’m not talking about the sky, or outer space, I’m talking about where the angelic beings reside, where exactly is this heaven…”Our Father which art in heaven….where is that, and how does that location relate to our physical earth, outer space/planets.

Re: Where is heaven

To be in heaven is to be a habitation of God (through the Spirit and the name of Jesus) which comes down from the heavens to be established eternally here on earth.

Ephesians 2
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Rev 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

We are now seated with God in heavenly places.
THE CHURCH IS HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!!
And if that isn't enough to make you want to shout and run the aisles . . .

Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Brother, I've seen people in the church that are not like children!

Does that mean a maturity as Paul was talking about with the church at Corinth? No, not at all! When Jesus is telling his disciples you need to become converted like children that is a dependency on him as our father. That's talking about a belief in him that is pure, a trust in him that is that of a child. Think of your children, (if you have children), they believe their daddy will take care of them, they believe their daddy will answer their requests, their daddy hears them, their daddy loves them, their daddy will protect them. The father represents to his children what their relationship to the Father is all about!

In my opinion, I believe that believing in Christ like a child is essential for God to use you in the Spirit. Otherwise, you become one, that doesn't believe God for his every word because as an "adult" we become too "all knowing", we begin questioning God when he answers us, because his words at times doesn't make sense... to our "wisdom".

I mean Brother let's use you and I as an example, do we talk to God like we did to our father? Do we ask him questions like we did to our dad? Do we wait on him to provide for our need like we did for our dad? Its ALL about RELATIONSHIP!

"....unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven."

So many in the church can have a relationship that is deeper than they have ever been, all they need to do is become like a child!

The location brother, is the condition of your spirit with Jesus Christ.

They're around us all the time.

An elder in Texas asked the Lord to show him the spiritual dimension, to help him better understand the spirit world. A couple days later this elder was walking through this factory I believe overlooking it or something. Anyways, he started hearing all these different voices, and after he left he asked God, "what was that all about"? The Lord spoke to him and said, those were voices of spirits temping every person in the factory.

Job 1;7
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

the Bible says satan is...

I Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

That would mean he is constantly looking for someone to deceive, for someone that his minions can possess.

Why do you think when you have a desire to do something for God, there is a time when you're full of faith, nothing could stop you. Yet, in the space of time you began fighting doubts, unbelief, you feel resistance? You think that's just your humanity? I don't think so, Bro. Billy Cole said, and I firmly believe this, the first voice is of God, the second is that of another spirit, and the third is you!

Revelation 22:8-9
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

They fight along with us.

Daniel 10:12-13
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

If we walk in the spirit, we battle in the spirit.

II Kings 6:16-17
16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

You know what that vision revealed to his servant? It revealed what was around him all the time. Elisha saw it, you want to see it brother? Walk in the Spirit!

Genesis 28:12
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

That dream revealed to Jacob what was around him. He couldn't see it through the natural eye, he didn't hear the voice of God with his natural ears. Yet...

Genesis 28:16
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

In order for God to show Jacob what was with him, he had to put him to sleep.

II Corinthians 12:2
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth such an one caught up to the third heaven.

The First Heaven is the Sun, Moon, Stars, the Universe beyond.

The Second Heaven, is the dimension we battle in the spirit. This is the dimension that we battle not with carnal weapons, yet spiritual ones. Our armor isn't of physical means, the darts that are coming at us are not physical. This is the place that Paul says, so great a cloud of witnesses surround us, in other words this is the world beyond.

The Third Heaven, is the eternal abode of God. This is the eternal rest, this is where no one can enter except the Bride, The Lambs Wife! If I may, this is the bed chamber of God. That place is only meant for the wife, I don't bring people into my bedroom, that's the place for my wife and I.

You know how "crazy" I am? I believe if you ask God to show you, what he showed Paul, he will! The question is, are you childish enough to believe it?
